Ryder Cup 2023 Schedule, TV Channels and Online Streaming

Ryder Cup 2023

The 44th Ryder Cup Matches is scheduled to happen in Italy this autumn at the Marco Simone Golf and Country Club in Guidonia Montecelio, near Rome, Italy. The biennial tournament was initially planned from September 30 to October 2, 2022; however, the 43rd event was postponed until 2021 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. After a 19-9 victory against Europe in 2021 at Whistling Straits, the United States was the Ryder Cup winner.

In this guide, I will share some information on Ryder Cup 2023.

How to Live Stream Ryder Cup 2023 Online

While reading this guide, I don’t know what part of the world you belong to. So if you want a one fits all guide, you can follow the below-mentioned steps.

  1. Get ExpressVPN, first.
  2. Establish a connection with a server corresponding to the broadcaster you want to watch. Connect to a server in the United States, such as one in New York or Seattle, for instance, if you want to see an American broadcast.
  3. Locate the event you wish to watch by looking at the broadcaster’s schedule, such as The Golf Channel or NBC.
  4. Watch and have fun!

I have recommended a VPN for specific reasons.

  1. Firstly, the Ryder Cup 2023 has a limited number of broadcasters. If you are hailing from a region without official broadcasters, you need a VPN to access other countries’ streaming services.
  2. Secondly, if you are travelling to another country from your native country, a VPN is a must-have for you. For example, if you are a US expat to another country like UAE. In that case, you may have a subscription to Peacock App. But unfortunately, you won’t be able to access it as it is geo-restricted for some reason. You will again need a fine-quality VPN that keeps your privacy intact while changing your location virtually.

What is the Prize Money for Ryder Cup 2023?

You might be surprised to learn that the answer is zero.

Yes, it is correct. Even if a team wins, players are not compensated for participating in the Ryder Cup. However, they do receive compensation in some other ways. The PGA of America reportedly gives each player on Team USA $200,000 for charity, half of which can be given to charitable organizations of player’s choice. The remaining half is reportedly directed toward the Boys & Girls Club of America, the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship, and the PGA Junior League.

Team Europe’s captain uses the Ryder Cup money to purchase presents for his teammates. In 2018, Captain Thomas Bjorn treated Team Europe to a thoughtful gift, a customized Rolex watch.

The opposition captain will occasionally even intervene with a thoughtful memento. Jim Furyk, the American team’s captain, delivered this magnificent decanter to the European team after Team USA’s defeat in 2018.
